Electronic/Quartz Seiko Watches
If it is not being used remove the battery, this prevents possible leakage, and if an early model, say 1970's it may not be possible to fix or replace if damaged. If you have a large collection of watches and sell regularly, always replace the old battery with a new one. This will qualify that the watch is running well and also it is good service. No one likes to buy a watch and have to replace the battery after a short period! Certain eletcronic tuning fork watches like the early Bulova Accutron require batteries that are now obsolete. Always check that a replacement battery is available even if it is not the same calibre number. Definitely get a couple of spares.
