Watch Dial Maintenance of your Seiko Watch


Again we have a very visual piece of the watch which does wear and discolour over the years. Discolouring is very common, and should not put you off your purchase. One can hardly expect say a 50 year old watch to be in perfect condition. I would rather purchase a well maintained movement watch, than a watch with a great looking dial only. Remember most dials can be restored, some wear or crack because they are made of enamel, or have ill fitting glasses that let the dust in. Again a good watch is worth buying even if you have to restore the dial . Some dials need experts to confirm that they should be left as they are rather than be restored. Always seek professional advice first.
